Trunk Show: MIJA Jewelry

Looking forward to the weekend? Yes, us too...Especially because MIJA Jewelry will be around to keep us company!

Sassanova Bethesda is hosting a MIJA Jewelry Trunk Show all weekend, and I promise you (swear on my Loefflers) that these amazing pieces are worth the trip 'round the beltway. They combine simplicity and elegance in the manner of Jenna Lyons, and wear like armor through thick and thin. My favorites (ahem...boyfriend) are the snowflake button earrings and matching ring and the stackable bangles (size small please!)

We hope you will swing over to Bethesda Row to visit us, all trunk show pieces are 15% off and (of course) we will have champagne and treats waiting!

XOXO,

Sassanova

Give it a Whirl: Kate Spade Showroom

So-long Disney (it was real Princess Jasmine), we found the new happiest place on earth!

Kate Spade's New York showroom features rooms and rooms of brightly colored wallpaper an decor, amazing leather goods, and fresh and cheery ready-to-wear pieces. Every corner you turn reveals a color combination or display you *wish* you though of, and the staff couldn't be nicer or more chic...no one rocks a cardi and pencil skirt like they do.

Equally as fun is the Kate Spade blog, where the every-day consumer can catch a glimpse behind the curtain of the happily-oiled chic machine that is Kate Spade.

p.s. The new Supercalifragilipstick is unreal. Poppy King is a genius...and her hair is perfection.

ENK Coterie: Sassanova Style

co·te·rie/ˈkōtərē/ Noun: A small group of people with shared interests or tastes, esp. one that is exclusive of other people.

Start spreading the news...Team Sassanova came, saw and conquered ENK Coterie. With entry badges around our necks and tote bags full of line sheets, we made our way through the rows of amazing Spring 2012 collections stopping only for the best of the best (and free candy).

We got to meet and rub elbows with some of our favorites: MZ Wallace, ASHA, Loeffler Randall, DVF, Butter, Roberta Freymann, Theodora and Callum and dozens of others. We also unearthed some new faces to the Sassanova family: Schutz, Melly M, Elizabeth and James, J. Litvack...and our personal favorite Bella Dahl.

Stay tuned here and on Facebook to see some of the beautiful pieces we ordered come to life on our shelves and racks!

XOXO,

Sassanova

You Say You Want a Revolution?

Done. And you don't even have to leave Baltimore City.

Get your tickets now for the third-annual Urban Chic Fashion Show benefiting the American Visionary Art Museum!  We attended this event last year and have *literally* counting down the days for it's return. We can't wait to see who will be walking the catwalk (last year we spotted Duff Goldman) and who will emerge as Baltimore's Best Dressed Attendee!

In Rememberance: Patriot Day 9/11

Our enemies have made the mistake that America’s enemies always make. They saw liberty and thought they saw weakness. And now, they see defeat.

There's Just Something About the Color Purple...

Yes...We know it's Fashion Week.

We know that last night was the third-annual (worldwide) Fashion's Night Out. We know Rachel Zoe premiers on Tuesday (ba.nan.as) and that that the Fug Girls are out in full force...

...So it is terrible that this is all we can think about?!

...Oh yea...and those purple skinny jeans we just ordered.

LET'S GO RAVENS!
